🍰 New York Cheesecake (Diner Style)
Ingredients

Crust:
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup sugar
- 6 tbsp melted butter
Filling:
- 4 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, room temp
- 1½ cups sugar
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix crust ingredients and press into pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add milk, then eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream, flour, and vanilla.
- Pour into crust. Wrap pan in foil and place in a water bath.
- Bake 1 hour. Turn off oven and let sit inside (door closed) for 5–6 hours.
- Chill overnight before slicing.
Notes
- Use room temp ingredients for a smooth batter.
- Water bath helps prevent cracks.
- Serve plain or with cherry topping, strawberry sauce, or whipped cream.
